I don't sell, I like these dividends to support my life of debauchery and mad spending, fast cars, terrific homes, great food, good booze, lots of travel and recreation, takes regular dividends. Hang on to your shares of good dividend paying companies. You too will be retired someday.............
They really pushed it down hard the past couple of days. They knew exactly what was coming. This shaking of weak hands is happening across different sectors that are improving rapidly.
It's really not your fault. When every ounce of your DNA says it's time to sell, it is actually time to BUY and vica-versa.
I was actually fortunate (lucky I'll admit) to average down yesterday. Today my position in GE is green and will take profit here, But I am taking a beating in other sectors of course. They will come back like GE. Especially the financials just as the financial arm of GE has improved so have the other financials. Greece is an "excuse" to push down the markets like they did GE yesterday. Just on a macro scale.
No big deal, the market these days is are completely cyclical all you have to do is have the financial capacity to average down. If you can't just turn the computer off and come back when you are green.
Don't feel bad
I've been in that spot before, just chalk it up to a learning experience.......
