    Cowboy wannabe's and Brain-dead Yahoos ...

I've been a gun owner since I was 11 years old, when my dad gave me my first shotgun and started taking me hunting with him.

He was an NRA member for a while, but dropped his membership many years before he died...I have never been a member and never will be.

I don't know what the answer is to the shooting type violence like what happened in the theater in Colorado, but I don't see gun control of any type having much effect on it.

The main problem, as I see it, is the exposure of kids to violence from the time they can turn on the TV or the game console...

By the time a kid reaches 11, he has probably seen the bloody death of thousands on TV, Movies, and games...and "killed" as many on some of the violent games sold to them as "entertainment"...

I'm sorry, but I really believe this desensitizes them to the reality and finality of real violence and death.
