LOL. The doofus's comments demolished by a republican.
When asked on NPR tonight about Jack Welsh's conspiracy tweet blaming "the guys in Chicago" for today's positive jobs number, Mark Zandi, MOODY's Chief Economist, said that claim is "silly", "the Bureau of Labor Statistics is non-political".
There isn't a job in government, that isn't political in some way or another. After all,l previous administrations have gotten agencies to do things for them, like Clinton got those 100 FBI files on Republicans, Nixon used the IRS, and Obama the IRS to harrass people with audits. You also need to remember that the folks reporting on the stimulus job gains, of Obama, created a dozen or so new congressional districts, on their own, and loaded them with phony jobs to make the figures look better.
Zandi is no more a republican than Barney Franks. He is from the academic world and often cited by Christina Romer and other left wing Keyneian economists who love to ignore the national debt, so get your fact right before making stupid statements like that....
BTW, listen to what he says the next time he is interviewed rather than thinking he is republican because he works for a rating agency.
