Welfare payments to be cut 6.5% to root out the "comfortably poor"
Don't worry dems it's not in the US it's Japan who is entering their 30 the year of recession/depression where we're only in our 6th. We have a ways to go before we figure out what Japan did that the poor get too comfortable in their misfortune.
What is fueling Japan's recession is govt cutbacks. Japan has been tightening its belt for some time now. England's current recession is a direct result of govt cutbacks. And what lesson have you learned from others mistakes?
Yep, we could just buy our way to prosperity. The more we spend the better the economy would get. Maybe we need to up government spending to a few more hundred trillion. What number comes after trillion? That's the number we need to get to...yep, that's the ticket. We could all be living like swells.
I don't know what poor people you know that are treated so badly. The kid I grew up with spent his life on welfare. Gov't built him a new 4 BR house and fed and clothed his 4 kids, He alway drove a late model car and all the family always looke good when Mom and Dad were not drunk.
One of the cousins got married, had 3 kids and immediately got on welfare. His father was the county assessor, this says he did not come from a deprived family. The state built him a 3 BR brick house, fed, clothed and educated his kids until they were all 18. At this point he was only eligible for FS, so he did go to work.
Don't give me this b.s. that we treat poor kids badly.
