Investors look past anemic corporate profit growth

Stocks may be soaring, but the same can't be said about corporate profits

    • Anemic corporate growth is just some dumb phrase created by talking heads to find something to say. It helps to sell news shows, newspapers, websites, what have you. Corporate profits have been growing rapidly and have been at all time highs for the past 4 years. This rapid growth in corporate profits obviously cannot continue indefinitely, the growth in profits need to take some rest before starting the next leg up. That is what the market sees.
