I say probably. The word spin-off usually implies that present shareholders get a position in the new company. That said, could go either way. Could be more of a split off, like what just happened with PFE. Or we see the benefits through buybacks or a special dividend. But we might end up getting nothing.

Yes, that is why it is called a spin-off. Be sure to read the form 10 when it comes out, which will be about 5 days before the spinoff date. Nothing will make sense until that is distributed, do not believe anybody but the form 10.
