    Non essential workers

Earlier I made a mistake. I was under the impression that many of the 800,000 workers were essential. Just listening to an analyst describing the entire 800,000 laid off workers are all NON ESSENTIAL. This tells you the work force for the federal gov't is super bloated. It is time for congress to back up and undo a world of waste they have built.
Congress, democrat and republican, use this shut down to fix things.

    • Actually, most of the people who do R&D for the government are the ones furloughed. The rest are the ones who process entitlement applications/checks, military, and law enforcement. Not saying the government is not bloated to some degree, but it is a bit more complicated than you think.
