Three suspected burglars on Tuesday broke into Texas man’s home, beat him, and then forced him into an upstairs closet.
Luckily for the homeowner, his assailants made a huge mistake: they put him into same closet where he keeps his guns.
Houston Police Department Sgt. Jerry Brandon told an ABC affiliate the homeowner thought the three men had left his home after a few minutes and headed downstairs, firearm in hand.
This is where he confronted one of the burglars and exchanged fire, wounding the intruder. The two other men escaped, according to authorities, while their compatriot has been hospitalized.

Fake story. The only place I could find this was on kooky, right-wing websites. I did find the story, word-for-word, from the NY Daily News from May, 2013, but come on, they are not a reputable source. If it had really happened, it would be on the ABC affiliate's website in Houston. But it's not.
I did, and I found it, but only on kooky, right-wing blogs and the inquistr (whatever that is). I found absolutely nothing on the local ABC affiliate in Houston. This story is completely made up for you ditto-heads living in la-la-land.
