Love GE...BUT I am so sick of...

the butt munching going on at CNBC. CNBC anchors
and reporters are so far up Welch and mangements ass
that they are polyps on his colon! Yeah, it is a great
stock, always has been. Yes, we all know about the
meeting and the probable stock split. So, shut the
F#^%-@p already It amazes me how they are quick to report
any possible bad news on other stocks, but they are
such chicken shits to do anything but hype GE. It
    needs no hyping. SHUT UP

    • You're correct, GE is probably worth $300B,
      although I think you're still a little high <G>.
IMO, CNBC "soft" contribution is about $50B in market
cap due to the relentless worldwide SPAM that FN
provides, which is worth more to GE than all of the Madison
Avenue ads that 'Bring Good Things To Life' plus all the
SPAM of all the message boards on all the internet
sites. I certainly would never bite the hand that feeds
me (and my boss and his boss and...etc...) those
awesome options. All things considered, it's probably not
a lack of balls; it's simply "discretion" (and a
flat on the Upper East side and a yacht and daily face
time in front of a National audience and a 'cult' of
      Baby Boomer amateur brokers and...).

    • your a spineless worm!
that's why jack gave you the ax!

    • From todays press
      release................

`Our product line is unsurpassed in this industry and
      the new web site will
      help promote our products
and add to FONAR's sales both in the U.S. and
      abroad.''

    • I'm making too many mistakes today.
Gonna go back to just lurking and not posting and give everyone a break.

    • glad you are gone sassman and keep your stock, too bad you didn't take a few more like you.Louie says, we still have too many duds here!

    • <eom>

    • GE market cap is $300B+, not $500B.

      CNBC
contributes about $200 million, at best, to the revenue line.
Didn't make any money until recently.

      Squak makes
fun of Barrons every week, even though they have a
      cozy relationship with Dow Jones.

      I'm afraid of
JW and I don't even work there.

      NBC
television network provides billions to GE top
      line.

GE Capital and Internet divisions are the future of
      the company.

    • With your 'I've been screwed' attitude, I am glad
your gone. I have worked for GE for over twenty years
and am glad I stayed. Sure, it ain't fun everyday and
the work is sometimes frustrating, but, the folks
that spend their time complaining instead of
contributing are the biggest problem. If you were being
'screwed' why did you stay as long as you did?? I would
wager that a lot of other things are wrong in your life
that are 'someone elses fault' as well!

    • Are you high?...they have a negative value,
Sunbeam has no reason to exist....that company was
fleeced by some seriously crooked management...the only
company WORTHY of taking over the GE product divisons is
Philips...BUT they got out of large appliances years ago,
selling theirs' to Whirlpool, GE is too big in the market
to get rid of either lighting or
Appliances...Philips is the worlds largest "small" appliance
maker,Whirlpool is the biggest "large" and, PHILIPS the worlds
largest lighting company, it wouldn't be allowed, it
would be a monopoly in lighting products, as it stands
now Philips has something like 38% of the world
lighting market, GE is second and Osram is third...the
rest is picked up by the small, speciality makers...GE
makes some great products, there is no reason to get
rid of them, they are one of the most widely known
      brands in both products..

    • bull shit. JACK HAS VISION! he started my
business, noryl ge plastics. how about those shares? i bet
they made you a lot of money!

      well if you hate
ge so much... sell your shares now....asshole
