    • My take is similar to but somewhat different from retirefisherie. It seems by far the most likely course that PIP will get a share of the SIGA income similar to that awarded in the original judgment. It could be higher - although probably not by much. It could be significantly lower if Judge Parsons incorporates a different co-factor for his estimation of uncertainty but I doubt it given long establish biotech valuation processes which he has to be familiar with from the briefs and the discussions to date. So it will be a significant amount of money.

But retirefisherie is correct that it will take a lot of time to manifest and SIGA will do everything they can to drag that time out. Moreover there will be a hiatus while Judge Parsons reviews the issues and issues his final orders. (Orders which SIGA will probably appeal as is their won't).

So it will be a few weeks, maybe longer, until something happens and a lot of people who had been waiting form months have some ennui on this. As I see if - guessing it will take 6 weeks - the shorts will dominate the trading through end July and will provide longs like me the opportunity to pick up the stock at a depressed price. Then Judge Parsons will issue an order, the stock will rise and the shorts will howl and suffer, SIGA will file an appeal, the stock will then settle out at some higher level while that new appeal is processed - fortunately in parallel with SIGA bringing in the first $40M they are entitled to prior to PIP payouts but while they bear the court imposed burden of paying PIP's legal costs.

That is my understanding. If anyone has different facts or logic, I welcome the comment. For the sorts like Hangmanzz who are focused entire on invective and ad hominem attacks they can comment or not as the please - I remain secure in the knowledge that nobody listens to them anyway.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Only after SIGA makes a net profit of $40,000,000. Don't hold your breath, because PIP will not get a large percentage of profit.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell
