    Buyout News

Haemonetics has a virtual stranglehold on the blood cell salvaging system.

There is a company out there that wants to add this niche to its repertoire.

Haemonetics will be bought out soon... small market cap, profitable business with a virtual monopoly.

It's screaming buy me buy me buy me!

    But who? Baxter? Abbott?

    • Baxter sold HAE shortly after buying out its parent company because Baxter owned Transfusion Therp (Fenwal)to avoid Anti Trust.

I can tell you Baxter is out of this businesss. They also Sold Fenwal in 07 but remains one of Fenwals customers and may have very small ties still.

Having said that I wouldnt worry about Fenwal being a threat to HAE for at least several years
