Also , we have no idea how many shares are being offered up for the Dutch Auction. Someone may be pushing the price down to accumulate shares to re-sale via auction for a dollar a share higher.
Think about that statement for a moment. How does one push down the price and simultaneously accumulate? Someone else must be selling in order for the people pushing the price down to buy.
Perhaps they first push the price down, creating a momentum once others start selling for fear of losing profits. Then when the price is down, they start accumulating in small batches so as not to drive the price up again.
Probably the clowns that got caught writing Dec. 8 covered calls.

How do you know they were covered calls and not an actual short call position?
