When they eventually make $320 million, Earnings will be $1.30 instead of $1.13 without the buy back. 17 cents more!
That's more than the total current dividend of 16 cents, $40 million every single year after they reach full production. For doing absolutely nothing extra.

Not to mention the PE multiplier for the market valuation. The $300 million spend now on a buyback is worth billions in dividends and market value per share over the next 10 years.
