bought one of their queen size beds 3 years ago. One of the bladders split open along the seam. It will cost more to fix than it's worth. He called the company and they would do nothing. Just an expensive mistake and lesson learned. They said it was probably caused by one of the pressure sensors failing and the pump kept pumping air until it burst.
Hi onedge953, my name is Stephanie and I work for Sleep Number’s online Customer Service team. I understand the concern regarding replacement cost. The Sleep Number bed has a 20-year limited warranty. After the first 2 years, the costs are prorated. While it is unfortunate that he would have to pay a portion to replace the chamber, this is a rare occurrence and he should not have any further issues. The bed has a long life and I’m sure he’ll have many happy years to come on the bed. For assistance, please feel free to call Customer Service at 1-888-411-2270. We’re glad to help.
