Actually according to Barrick's notes to their latest financial statements, the development expenditures for Pascua Lama are over $2.5 billion.
JL insists that the ore deposit is not where Barrick is developing their pit, but to the southwest on "the disputed claims".
JL also assured IHub readers Barrick has clandestine airstrips at Pascua Lama. And secret tunnels.
Clandestine airstrips? Wow! Who knew? I mean besides JL.
Well, that got me intrigued and my investigative juices flowing. So I sat myself down in front of my keyboard and search engine. And guess what? There really is a secret airstrip at Pascua Lama! I found one in the first five minutes of my search. The following “Eyes Only” document filled my screen with a PICTURE of a clandestine airstrip right on the front cover showing not only the airstrip, but a plane and mountains and some Andean snow. This is BIG!
And there are maps so we can actually locate the clandestine airstrip. Scroll down to Figure: 4-1, and look to west of where the Barriales Camp used to be, there is a little yellow icon of an airplane and the yellow word “AIRSTRIP”. There it is. Right there. They are so crafty that they are hiding the clandestine airstrip in plain sight, which is rather more practical than putting an airstrip underground so it can’t be seen from the satellites. Case proved. But even more wonderful, you can see the airstrip on Google maps. Find the Barriales Camp at the confluence of the Estrecho River and the Barriales Creek. The easiest way to do this is go to the vicinity of Pascua Lama and turn on the pictures. The picture is labeled “pascualama 1996”. Right under that picture was the Barriales camp. Follow the road from the camp north and enlarge, and there is the airstrip. It even has two little planes sitting on the side of the strip. How cute! They are almost as cute as kittens with an IPad.
But now, back to the document. Scroll down to Figure: 18-14 almost at the end. There are the plans for the secret tunnel from Chile to Argentina! JL was right again. Clandestine airstrips AND secret tunnels just like he said. This is really exciting.
Pussculla is among the mentally insane. He can't comprehend reality any more. He lives in his own sick world. Nobody takes the fool seriously for obvious reasons. Look at the stock climb 60's just wait.
My opinion is that as soon as Mr. Lopehandia takes his 25% ownership of Barrick, he may.
However, he will as contracted as record says, do it with MWR not ABX.
That is the legal answer you have to live with as of now.
Any other question you may be stacked with perhaps?
For someone who alleges to a have "clean title" don't you think it's strange he's not on site with MWR doing exploration work for MWR due-diligence?... MWR is planning on giving JL $1.8 Billion, on top of the $3M they've already forked over for alleged "clean titles".
