I don't think it's too late to sell the overall market. A 16 year bull market is not corrected by a 6 week bear market. While it may bounce for a week or two, I think it has a lot further down to go.
The fundamentals for gold look terrible. You know that, and I know that. What everyone knows is of NO value. Hopefully, Russia will sell all of its gold; the sooner, the better. They will see just how fast they can support the rubal to zero.
Barrick will make money regardless of where the price goes in the next three years. I think the stock is down simply because it offers liquidity to funds forced to sell to meet redemptions. I hope they don't buy back their stock. I hope they have enough foresight to buy up other companies at these prices, before the world wakes up to discover that gold is the ONLY world currency which cannot be massed produced.
