    what's going on???

to me, beside management problems, i do not see much problem at all...

the assets are fine as-is, north sea, vietnam, canada, beside no oil-sand exposure...

    it's been drifting downward slowly...

any pro out there can me shred some light would be greatly appreciated!!!

    • Gotta be some big time manipulation here; this stock has drifted up and down all spring and summer in a very tight range. I really think that a takeout is on the horizon based solely on this trading range. Everything you all say is true re: assets, production, etc., and all the other co's are moving up nicely. Volume is healthy, so what the heck can it be if not human intervention. I think the new CEO coming from BP is more than coincidence. BP will be the one to take this stock out...Regards, Phil

      • i am thinking the same thing...

the bid/ask sizes are ridiculously large, especially on the canadian side...+ hugh trading vol when compared with other major canadian base oil firms...3, 4 times more vol, but the stock does not move...

the vol for su and cnq is only 25% of tlm's, but they move up at least 1% or sometime 3% a day...

i just do not get it :'(

they are not making any money, half of the money they show is from selling off assets, 08 and 09 is when they will show a good profit and things will start to move, I hope!!!
