Tony, I also suspected the conference would be used as an excuse to "goose" this stock. To me the huge intraday volume spikes the last few days (over half a million shares within 20 minutes yesterday morning!) tell me this is market makers trying to see how much short "fuel" is left. This activity is too sloopy for hedgies who tend to enter large positions more stealthfully. And who the hell thinks this POS is a good deal up here?!? Looking at the price activity, I think MM's are finding this too tired to squeeze. Looks like they have so many shares they will try to let down (sell down) slowly, but depending on broader mkt, it could get away from them. I'm looking for $16 here in the near future. GLTA
In my humble opinion, down from here guys. Even if Williams Sonoma is selling 85-dollar dinner plates like hotcakes to yuppies across America, I think we're in for a pretty steep downtrend. Don't fight the trend.
Williams Sonoma below 16 in the next 10 days. Just one Shepards opinion.
