rumors are circulating that southern california based Quiksilver, is up for sale...Nike would be a good candidate, but i dont think they are interested, but VFC would be a good match...the two companies have engaged in business before
Anybody could do a better job with Quiksilver than its current management. They raped a perfectly good company (Quik) to bail out a relative's failing company, Rossignol. I like the idea of VF picking up a major surf line.
