results were mixed. Those expecting a higher revenue payout will sell and those happy with
the royalties moving forward will hold and/or buy. The net effect means the stock will remain
volatile and we will continue to see wide swings...probably between $3 and $6...just can't see
a strong move upward until the dust settles and the company plans their next steps.
Don't you get any of this at all. VRNG absolutely had to win this suit, otherwise they would cease to exist in short order. That is THE ONLY reason for the volatility - in your own words, "the dust has settled" NOW
It's all about expectations. Most believed that Vringo would win so it came down to how much was the award and what about future royalties. Had Vringo lost, game over...Since there is still uncertainty about the future until the company responds and gives a clear indication of their next moves (ie. dust settles), there is still going to be so much speculation that the stock will swing wildly back and forth for a while.
