I bought Nov expiration of call options back in October thinking they will be good enough to catch the verdict. Well, at this point, they are practically worthless. Since this could drag out further, I might opt for shares rather than December options. Any thoughts?
There's still time for them to be valuable again, but a "hope for the best, plan for the worst" attitude might serve you better. Pick up some shares, since options are a derivative, you'd be helping your own cause, and they won't expire on you. My Novembers aren't looking too healthy either ;)
You could try the Warrants. They are like long-dated calls. They are selling for about 1.45 a share. Each Warrant gives you the right to buy one share directly from the company for $5.06. The warrants expire in June 2015. They rise and fall just like the stock. However, they are not as "liquid" since the volume is a lot lower.
