Personally, I hope Ackman remains quiet. HIs credibility is shot...he wasted any credibility he had with his vocal and frequent support of RJ. Ullman needs to be front and center...hopefully he will have more to say than "Plan? We don't have a plan yet."
Ackman is a superb investor. I've made a fortune following him over the years. Unfortunately, he blew it with JCP. He was as wrong as wrong can be. I admit that I followed him into JCP without doing my normal DD, and I lost a nice chunk of money. But so far I have recouped a lot of it with repeated short positions, every time it rallies. I'm in the money short again, and am sure I'm going to do very well, ultimately. JCP is done, you can stick a fork in it. Just one man's opinion.
You do seem to be the stubborn investor - - - you've received some(I assume) great investing tips today and yet you failed to "back up the truck" - - - if you can't trust a guy who has visited a couple of stores and a Facebook follower - - - - well - - - - - you won't be invited to the "Over 40$ PPS Party" in a couple of months - - - alll the greats will be there - - JCPenneyFRAUD(aka mole) - JerseyJerk - Alphabet boy - sbutler - stockchaser - poo flinger and assorted others who "Came - they saw - they pontificated great things for JCPenney - they slithered away"
