Forgot to add, that less than a week ago, you're largest investor went on Charlie Rose and called his JCP investment the biggest "mistake" of his career. And you are buying? The writing isn't just on the wall, it's being blared over loud speakers.
and capital group just bought 7% stake last friday... and Ackman ain't selling. dumb people buy at top and sell at bottom, looks to me like im buying near bottom. went to JCP over weekend, completely packed for back to school and registers ringing like crazy... and this was in a small town, not even a densely populated area... i know a good investment when i see one. Got appl avg $427 recently. NFLX at $72 and sold $240. my biggest dog right now is X but it will breakout soon as well. be patient.
kiss that money goodbye. The CEO saying "encouraging signs" going forward, with little cash on hand, declining mall traffic, a home store that's dead on arrival, more competition everywhere and the worst quarter in company history just announced, is not a bullish scenario. Contrarian works often but not when a company is imploding before our eyes.
