Went to Kohl's, only because it's close by. The line was 150 people deep the whole time I was there. When I finally got on line, only took about 10 minute but the line continued to wrap around the first level. The place was insanely crowded and I imagine most of the retailers were as well.
It's interesting to note that JCP will have a fantastic quarter if the average store does only $48 thousand dollars in sales on the average day. If the store is open for 12 hours, that's $4000 per hour, or $67 per minute. During the busy hours on busy days, I think the stores ringing up at twice that rate.
