    • Agreed, fellow shareholder. However, there is a dark side to the food business:

Who knows what the UN will dO?

Who is going to feed the starving? One summer, I worked in a grain mill in Milwaukee, WI. It was ten stories high. The grain would go to the top floor. As gravity pulled it down in a straight path, machines would mill or add additional ingredients and mix - I was on the 5th floor and my job was to empty a sack of vitamins (worth a few thousand dollars if you put them in pills in a bottle with a label in the supermarket) every MINUTE or so into thousands of tons of ground soybeans, corn, wheat, rice, whatever was in surplus....

However, these are not days of surplus anymore. Foodstuffs can now be used in fish farms, for bioethanol, to feed cattle, and for the ever present thirst for fermented beverages.

The true cost of food has been undervalued for many years, as was the price of gasoline for many years. Is America the Saudi Arabia of cheap food? Stay tuned and keep your money in MOO.
