Why would we go down .07 on less than 7K volume this morning? I don't get why that low volume would drive the stock price down that much. Now, I realize we will rebound most likely today, but being a newbie, I don't understand spikes down on low volume. TIA.
For instance, someone places an artificially low bid in for X shares, hoping a holder enters an order to sell at the market. The low bid is matched to the sell order and the seller is screwed. Several months back I placed a lowball bid for shares at .57 when the market had generally been around .68. I got the miraculous fill at .57 and the BFDI closed near ,68 that day.
I would disagree and say that based on the low float a small sale can take it down the same way a 100 share buy can bring it back up. Hopeful made a good point in folks that bought in between 50-60 may look to exit at these prices as they hoped for a 2 + bagger. How anyone can state this company is not progressing is foolish. Patience will be rewarded here but do your own DD and make your owm decisions.
