where you are given an opportunity to buy a stock in a company that has a stalled sp but stands as the only company that can say it trades at 34% of BV while having a forward PE of 7.78 (using 5.06sp and 0.65 earnings) and a forcasted 2010 avg profitabilty of 0.60 cents and growing sales and improving investment portfolio and limited comercial realestate exposure and an improving balance sheet (that involves decreased leverage with increase in cash and decrease in long term debt) and has insider(s) buying large quantities of stock and is in a position to recieve some upgrades (may not happen but stands a good chance). Rare opportunity and upside will take care of itself. Even Paulson stated, in the letter a kind fella post a while back, that with an improved balance sheet this has potential to be a very lucrative investment and anticipates the share price to obtain book value.
agree. but for how long? timing is everything when investing. If they continue to spit out profitable quarters, it is the only way for the shareholders to reward the company, and if Paulson is right about cno, they will be rewarded. All in good time of course, right now its all about the potential.
