I was recently in a church in Uganda. The only church that this Ugandan town has ever known. There were two children who had each lost one leg in the Ugandan Civil War of 2012. I noticed they were laughing and carrying on without a care in the world and leaned over to speak with them.
I asked them, "How can you be so happy with so much misery which surround you." They became very quiet and stared at me with the eyes of someone 50 years their senior. They said to me, "We have God, but most of all we have Thomas B. King."
This took me aback, but they continued... "Do you see these prostetic legs next to use which we use to walk to the store to buy our daily bread and milk?" I responded, "Yes, I see them." They said, "We'll these are real legs. The real legs of Thomas B. King, CEO of Alexa Phamaceuticals, Inc. which trades on the NASDAQ General Markets under the ticker symbol ALXA. When he came to visit Uganda last year he saw we did not have the use of our legs so he told us he was going to make every better. When we protested, he held his finger up to his lips and gently shushing us he said, "This one's on me kids..." before SAWING HIS OWN LEGS OFF so that we could each have one. So you ask us why we laugh and why we play as if the world will go on forever. It is because of Thomas B. King!"
Life is still difficult for these children and not because they each lost their right legs and one of them was stuck with Thomas King's left leg, but let's all stop a moment and ask "What Would King Do?". Once we have answered that question we may all finally know peace. The peace that only Thomas King can bring.
And now because of this made-up story I must now rate ALXA a strong buy. God speed... er... King speed to you all.
