I recall selling all of my clients' IMGN stock at $20+ back in 1991 when I was a young stock broker and many old time followers have seen their stock range from $2-$40+. 22 years later and the stock is lower. IMGN seems to only create wealth for the execs, not for the shareholders. The market value is up, but the stock price is not. IMGN is not keeping pace with the biotech ETF's/indices or with the closest rival SGEN. A much younger entrant ECYT has gone from $4 to $11 in the past year while IMGN has done nothing. Someone needs to go to the meeting and represent the shareholders and ask the BOD some tough questions about IMGN's poor overall and relative performance.
In a literal sense this company has done nothing to increa the shareholder value in these 22 years ! Wow !
Give those 22 years to a technology company like GOOGLE or APPLE and you would have retired by now !
I sold my clients out and never bought a share for many years, I just started following/owning/trading it again about 3 years ago. My average cost is in the $7's. Either way, I know there are shareholders who have owned the stock for many years and have nothing to show for it.
