Stock tanks every time management holds an earnings call. Every time! Traders are positioning for the quarterly post earnings plunge. Simple as that. Management has to go. No sense of urgency in one of the most dynamic sectors of the market.
knowing this, perhaps they will invest some time preparing for analyst questions this time. Or, perhaps the decline will come in advance this time and the stock will go up after the call. If they have another debacle call, I will once again contact the BOD and ask for DJ to be replaced.
Looks like the decline in biotech was wide-spread. Too much negative FDA news lately from some of the early stage companies, maybe FDA is angry about the Govt shut down. Industry pays most of their salaries through fees...
The larger firms have been thriving. IMGN has product revenues that should be increasing rapidly over the next few years, so they should start to trade more with the larger winners and less with the spec firms.
agree, sense of urgency, skills and speed in development are a major issues that need to be addressed with the hiring of the next CEO. DJ should do shareholders a favor and resign before the BOD kicks him out. It was good to see the comments on the PR were from John Lambert, not from DJ. Lambert has credibility and is the primary value creator for IMGN and shareholders. DJ has no credibility and is the primary value destroyer. DJ usually has a few tricks up his sleeve prior to the CC, he's good at the dog and pony show, but has no depth and fails at the analyst Q&A session.
IMGN seems to always go down in the morning. Also, some of the companies seen as development stage have been hurt by some recent high profile clinical/FDA issues. Baby thrown out with bath water deal. It's a buy opportunity IMO.
Thanks bio. I am one of the idiots that invested heaving in AMRN and lost a lot. Getting out of the depression and starting all over again. After losing a lot, one gets jittery when there is red on the screen.
