UNTK: how does this result in additional business for MBND ???

UNTK acquired Pinnacle Wireless which had fraudulently inflated its revenue. UNTK customers are in no way involved so why would they go elsewhere ???

The real lesson here is that in regards to acquisitions especially smaller companies one has to be careful and do a thorough job of DD.

It might not have qualified as fraud but had MBND purchased WPCS they would have quickly found out that massive losses had been taking place at their New Jersey center......right after the acquisition was delayed it was reported in the next earnings release.

Mandel wanted to buy WPCS at $3.20 per trading at thirty some cents. And now he wants to acquire MDTV...........

    • Well the MDTV deal is not final. Maybe MBND can turn around and acquire ops from UNTK.

      • It will take UNTK quite a while (probably 1+ years) to clean up the mess and that includes shareholder litigation, etc. During this time there is little or no chance that they will be selling off any of their best business operations. I guess the only positive and unfortunately it has no value is that MBND shareholders can say, "it could be worse...I could have bought UNTK instead."

Also for what it's worth there is the "cockroach theory" that if a business discovers a problem the chances are good that upon further detailed examination they will find additional problems. Chances are good that the stock price of UNTK will at some point take an additional hit or two. Would not at all be surprised if it doesn't retest the $1.00 level.
