    The Fudge weather report

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS OVER THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO ARE
ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. THIS SYSTEM HAS
BECOME SLIGHTLY BETTER ORGANIZED THIS MORNING...AND THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.EVEN IF THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT DEVELOP FURTHER...IT IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS OVER PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWESTERN AND NORTHERN GULF COAST AS IT MOVES NORTHWARD TO NORTHEASTWARD DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

Hurricane! head for the bunkers. Starting to turn more towards the east and is slowly moving while intensifying.

for the north atlantic...caribbean sea and the gulf of mexico...

a reconnaissance plane has been investigating the area of disturbed
weather in the western gulf of mexico and so far it has found a
broad area of low pressure with light winds except in a few
squalls. Although satellite images indicate that the system has not
become any better organized...some models suggest the development
of a tropical or non-tropical low during the next day or so. even
if this system does not develop further...it is expected to produce
locally heavy rains and strong gusty winds over portions of the
northwestern and northern gulf coast as it moves northward to
northeastward during the next couple of days. Another plane is
scheduled to investigate the area on friday.

an area of low pressure over the lesser antilles is producing
cloudiness and showers that extend northward over the central
atlantic for several hundred miles. Although upper-level winds are
not favorable for development at this time...most of the guidance
suggests that there could be some tropical or non-tropical
development in this area during the next couple of days as the
      system moves northward.

for the north atlantic...caribbean sea and the gulf of mexico...

the broad area of low pressure in the western gulf of mexico continues to show signs of organization this morning. this
low...in combination with strong high pressure over the mid-atlantic states...is producing winds to near tropical storm
force over portions of the north-central and northeastern gulf of mexico over 500 miles from the center of the low. most of the
rainfall associated with this system is also located well to the northeast of the center of circulation. a reconnaissance aircraft
will investigate the low this afternoon to determine if the system has acquired the characteristics of a tropical cyclone. regardless of whether the low develops into a tropical depression or tropical
storm...heavy rains and strong gusty winds are expected to continue over much of the gulf of mexico and portions of the north-centralgulf coast over the next couple of days. coastal flooding is already occurring in some areas. for information on hazards
specific to your area...please monitor products issued by your local nws forecast office.

showers and thunderstorms extend from the lesser antilles northward over the central atlantic for several hundred miles. Although upper-level winds are not favorable for development at this time...conditions could become more favorable for a tropical or subtropical cyclone to develop to the north of the lesser antilles during the next couple of days.
