Barclay's Capital Financial Conference presentation
Given that the conference was held on Tuesday, did Wilson or his lackies mention the large loss from Irene at that time? I skimmed through the slides and no apparent mention was noted. See, and that is a problem, because on Thursday they actually provided that information, but not in the Barclay's Capital Conference. Clearly, they knew about it, but don't address these things upfront. And, when they do mention it, they spin the story to say "Irene not as costly as tornados from earlier in the year". Why don't they just come out and recognize that the company is bleeding money, and that they are increasing their advertising to play catch-up, although the increase in premiums is yet to come, so more bleeding. This is just a badly mis-managed company, and the lackluster stock price/action is representative of this.
