Did Wilson Spend The $).21 Dividend On An Unnecessary Buy Back???
Did Wilson not just blow money on e-surance but blow off the $0.21 dividend???
Is Wilson now trying to manipulate the S&P Allstate credit downgrade language on Nov. 2, and arranging for a call for a downgrade of Allstate's Dividend by S&P on Nov 3, as well by using his Federal Reserve influence?
Is this a cowardly manipulation of the dividend downward in a manner that uses forces outside of Allstate whereby it might then be claimed that no other option is available? Is there about to be a con that the dividend must be cut because Allstate's credit status was downgraded and is now on watch for a further downgrade because of poor cash management?
If it is actually 100% true that a stock re-purchase plan was completed early due to a low Allstate stock price, sell that stock.
Announce a $0.21 dividend and sell that stock that was as usual wastefully, foolishly and needlessly bought back. Anything less is going to further crush Allstate beyond the already low price it has been mismanaged down to.
Sell the stock and fund the $0.21 dividend or clean out your desk Wilson. Both would be best but at least choose one or the other. If you want that parachute Wilson take it, just stop the damage.
