WTF! Could somebody tell me how my policy is STILL active after I cancelled it on March 22? Now get this, Allstar still has two checks for me for homeowner & auto which is a big inconvenience to me, the former customer! Talked to Corporate & nobody knew nothing. Did the research myself b/c this is what I do & found out the Ga office dropped the ball & didn't process the ppwk...for 2 weeks...GTFOH! After I found this out, the Ga office said they would have deliver the checks the next day, which was yesterday..."Didn't Happen!". Comes to find out the check is coming from Corporate & they, now get this, put it in the "Regular Mail", not Express Over Night, the Regular Mail...For a company of All State reputation, I would expect better service... A little advice when dealing with a customer who has had unsatisfactory service & you are mailing them something...YOU USE OVER NIGHT SERVICE, NOT REGULAR MAIL. This is in the manual Customer Service 101, which you guys should know already...GET ME MY CHECKS!!!
I filed a claim with Allstate in the middle of June on my h/o policy. The adjustor that was sent wasn't from Allstate but from Integrity claims service(what a joke that name is). He was extremely smart aleck in mho. He gave a lowball estimate and had Allstate send a check after the h/o deduction that won't even cover a third of the cost of the repair and replacement items. I have a deluxe h/o policy which is suppose to cover replacement value.I pay extra for that policy. The repair company has written two detailed estimates of the repairs to be done. The adjustor has talked to the repairman twice by phone.To date i still haven't got this settled. The adjustor tells me he is going to give approvaj but I haven't seen anything in writing yet,nor the amt he will approve for Allstate.He tells me he has so many other claims to work. I am a 75 year old woman and I feel I am being put aside because of this. I have had a h/o policy with Allstate for over 20 years but probably won't for much longer. This has been a nightmare. I get furious when I see "your in good hands" commerial. I don't see how they can stay in business with their service.
I would not have mailed them express mail either. You stated yourself that you are a FORMER customer. So what did they have to gain by bending over backwards for you, you would have found something else to complain about. Cant please everyone.
