How's this for a twist?
MTSI offers to buy GIG in an all-stock transaction. Any takers, and what would a reasonable swap ratio look like?

A Chubby Checker deal as long as there is no binding requirement that locks shares to be held for a certain time period. Interesting..........NO.
GIG Poison pill changes one share to one thousandth of a share with 1 thousand votes per share. I have no faith that we would end up on the deal. MTSI is not ready as a company to jump in on our variety of technology.

Doubt that Avi would go for it! Besides if it's all stock then MTSI dilutes with the purchase of GIG and that is an bummer to GIG shareholders. Cash is king and preferred. Is this just one of your scenerios or is this really serious? I don't see any upside for GIG to consider it and as an stock holder I see the upside as to why MTSI would want too but not for GIG holders.

Sisv, if a deal is offered it will be in the high numbers that is closer to ten then to five. so if that happens why would you care if it is in shares or cash? simply sell it and invest someplace else........

Avi would go for it if he numbers added up. Be real Siserv.
The numbers would be too dilutive for MTSI shareholders to approve though.
