Anything going on with Dover to cause this big drop other than the general market. I don't recall any bad news since the last quarterly report which was record earnings?
Is this just overreaction to the general market, fear of a recession causing loss of revenue or is there something I am missing? Is anyone aware of anything other than market concerns in general or the retirement of the CEO?
Local people here are getting tired of their tight slots that don't pay out during the week and the fact that they cater to the "out of state" on the weekends. the new addition is a waste of money because they can't even keep the place full as it is! it cost $4.50 for a friggin' green bottle of beer and their comp system is a joke! you spend 60 bucks to get 1 comp dollar and 6 comp dollars to get 1 pack of smokes which equals your cost of $360.00 for that pack of smokes! this town sucks... nothing here in dover and the $$$ is in northern de. which us gamblers have been going to Harrah's in pa. which is 35 min away. the payout has been fair there.
All of the Delaware Racinos should add Live Poker and table games to their mix to generate more profits. The Delaware racinos are nice places, but more variety is needed and they need to become "CASINOS". Texas Holdem and 1/2 NL is growing in popularity and are a lot more fun to me to play. The game is more social.
