    WNR has worse management in industry

    They can run a refinery. But their vision is greatly impared. Do you remember how they bought Yorktown at the absolute peak of the market. And by the time they closed on the deal Yorktown couldn't make money anymore.

    • Western did not buy Yorktown, Giant di When western aquired Giant Yorktown went with it, closing Yorktown was a good move since it was losing 8 million a month, They are better with just a supply Terminal there. Cost too much to get it going again, esp if crack spreads go south. better off selling it to reduce debt. Western is moving up the same way Giant did 7 years ago, leave well enough alone, could be mid 20's before long. Seen this happen before

    • Also with improved crack spreads should be easier to sell at a higher price, They are better off concentrating on the southwest a region where they know well
