If startup of the Seaway reversal fails to unplug the Cushing drain and crack spreads remain strong, WNR will become very attactive to many once again. $20's PPS will become the new norm's, especially given the midland crude discounts. GLYALs
Agreed.. Like I have been saying all along....WNR will be in the mid 20's soon for several reasons.. To be candid, at this level now its undervalued.. Sold out all of my CVI ... Did well with that one. Also doing better than expected with DK.. TSO has been good to me only because I got it so cheap...... HFC has stalled out and ALJ needs to prove itself - they made a few mistakes last quarter in terms of their handling of the Krontz ref. and their shutdown of Bakersfield.......But I expect ALJ will be much improved by years end..
But getting back to WNR. I am still very bullish and see this as a great investment .......Very solid management of the company if you look back to where we were just a short while ago.. Could be a good candidate for M & A..D
Congrats on CVI! Don't forget to thank Carl next time you see him :) ALJ is not doing well. They need to improve margins and push more of that revenue to the bottom line. I can't trade it anyway, options volume is very light.
WNR, as recent as Q4, 2011 things where still a little dark. Sale of Yorktown has created a giant (excuse the pun) turnaround for the company in my mind. And, your so right, the more debt paid off, the more attactive WNR become as a M&A candidate.
