No, I was referring to the MAN engine. That's the European mid block that IH has been using. Have a customer with a few and he is not happy.
As far as the Detroit, I haven't heard terrible things about it, but I don't have too many operting in my part of the country. As far as the Cummins, yes, it has been operating favorably, much better than in 08 and 09 when it had its share of problems.
Sorry! That message was meant for Mose. All new products will have some issues. Heres a hint for a non industry person. Look at the resale values. A 5 year old Pete will bring triple what a comparably specd IH will and double that of a FL. Operating cost is determined when you dispose of the asset, not when you buy it. Aquisition cost plus operating cost less resale. Think Kia vs Lexus.
