    Private Equity?

$190m enterprise value for this company after you take out the cash. It is throwing off $20m+ a year. If ever there was a time for a private equity or others to look at this, isn't it now?

    • private equity took a bath in this market so do not look for that.

    • Also Nico can't be happy with the share price in the low 4's and him selling 120,000 shares a month. This will cost him $360k before taxes per month!!!!

      Time to make a change.

    • So right......Our Chairman is an ACCEL-KKR Partner...& then their is , Lewis Gerstner of Carlyle Group , former turnaround agent for IBM 93- 2003 or so......Lewis , is all about Infor Tech.....& I believe Lewis is also , great friends with ACTU from earlier days ,when he was at , American Express, which is still , ACTU's client , today......Point is I would not be surprised if KKR & Carlyle teamed up , & some how brought SUNW into it some how....remember KKR took a big position in SUNW about a year ago......This is the time for , Private Equity ....

r.i.p. Carlyle Group, they didn't meet their margin call.
they will fail within two months. WSJ article:

The issue came to the forefront yesterday as Carlyle Capital Corp. said it failed to meet margin calls on loans backing part of its $21.7 billion portfolio of highly rated securities issued by Fannie and Freddie.

no buyout cos. who could have orchestrated an ACTU buyout
6 months ago have the cash anymore, the were all
overleveraged and now are dumping all their holdings,
        including small-cap stocks.

in 6 months if you have cash best investment will be to
buy undervalued mortgages -- nobody will want to touch
them but their intrinsic value is higher than their
current market prices. not sure how small private
investors get into that. any ideas?

      • I would be more in favor of a company coming in for the whole thing and replacing Cittadini and the entire team. They have not diversified from only Financial Services and it is hurting the company. BIRT is good, but too slow and too long. They should have been in several more markets. If BIRT was going to provide $16m this year, they would be a mess. Also their IBM relationship is in the toilet with IBM working with Cognos.

Nico and the board need to step up and make this happen asap!
