bizzaro u know this position does not trade on any fundamental analysis but i do agree with u regarding the tru case. Jeff can run but cant hide from that one. He effectively postponed the inevitable and loss of revenues will hit their bottom line very hard. That is why this is a case of who is left holding last. No long wants to hold this dog going into earnings and all u have to do is be patient and wait for earnings upcoming and u will be amply rewarded. Any rallies should be looked at as shortable opportunities. Especially with ebay's fixed price sore up and running now. There is no way this company is meeting estimates this qtr or next qtr. notice how all the articles that have come out touting internet stocks EXCLUDE amzn from their recommended list????? Scams only last so long and then everthing reverts to the mean. I still see a bankrupcy filing in the future.
As I understand it, the TRU loss will go straight to the bottom line. It is not just a loss of revenue -- this is the premium charged to ToysRus for exclusivity. In other words, there will be no reduction in CGS associated with the $50 million.
