Online retail is a narrow moat biz, but AMZN has establish its brand very well, and, thanks to mgnt superb vision in looking for new venues, they have head starts in many initiatives, e.g. cloud computing (they started way before others) and E-book (Kindle).
No one argues AMZN is not a good co, but we are now looking at its stock price. It's the matter how one justifies the price per share.
To me, if GOOG cannot get a double digit growth, there's a high possibility that AMZN won't.. One would never know until the earning comes out. I can be wrong. It's just that, at this price, AMZN cannot show any weakness in their biz.. Many more shorts are looking to pile on (easy to make an argument)... AMZN is just priced very close to perfection at the moment.
I still don't know why Citi analyst is this late to the party. Long term this co has a very good prospect I have no doubt.. 95 in a good economy is too little.
