Who cares? If these people complain, they should be fired and their jobs moved out of the country!
If the Bama is allowed to serve out his term, there will be no jobs left in America anyway.
I'm betting you are too lazy to endure ONE shift at an AMZN warehouse, at the best temperature of the year.
Maybe YOU should be outsourced?
Next year, I challenge you to an AMZN warehouse duel. We both show up, and see who runs whining for the exit first...
And, yes, been there done that, outlasted people half my age... (The holiday season at AMZN does resemble Survivor of Big Brother, except that at Amazon, it isn't your co-workers who vote you off the island, as it were.)
This is the original full, version of the report from the Pennsylvania paper that wrote it.
Read it. Read the whole thing.
The headlines are all about the heat and safety conditions- which is bad. But the workers there were more upset about the absurd productivity requirements, antiquated and dimly lit facilities and abuse of the "temporary" status to fire people without real cause.
They literally have 60-70 year old men and pregnant women scurrying around on their hands and knees, trying to locate items in bins in the dark. That's your "state-of-the-art" delivery technology.
Additionally, the comments section has numerous additional complaints from residents and former workers that were not addressed in the main article.
I read the whole article. I think its great that 60-70 year old people can find a job there, for people who want to work. For people who want to just sit, because their union won't let them get fired, they should work for Obama Motors. Of course none of you are serious, you're trying to affect the market, which is pretty pathetic if you think about it.
Full automation would cost wayyy too much $ to pack and move if the state wants to collect sale tax. Scamazon is all about dodging tax obligation and modern-day slavery to benefit a few insiders and the big boys in WS.
