Simple answer for amzn being up in AH

The spending on facilities will have to be done as revenue grows. They have never made hardly any money.... and never will. When the business slows, and/or state sales taxes kick in they will have an over supply of these facilities and..... wait for it..... still not make any money.

All this happens in cycles however. You will first see a prolonged period of higher profit before any spending of this scale is seen again. And so on...

"They have never made hardly any money.... "

If this is a double negative then it is true. They made $billions during the period prior to the current expansion.

      "..and never will."

He better hope so, folks, 'cause he shorted from $180 and is currently eating it.

Internet sales are one of the fastest growing and longest runway business around so none of the former is likely to happen in your lifetime at least. Deals have already been struck in many places not to collect sales tax even once the legislation goes into effect. Shorts only see it as an overflow because they have no idea what the size of the market is and how much larger it will become.
