Couldn't wait any longer. Got in today as the seconds ticked away on the trading day. Just a 10% intro to shorting AMZN. I expect it to test 264 but don't want to get too greedy and miss out if I wake up one morning and it's down $30. - PJ

No wonder shorts here are all losers. They are just gambling, like buying a lottery ticket.
This is in its death throws. As such, it is dangerous it will kill as many as possible before dying. I'll simply note that I find it fascinating all the hype is on the Kindle PaperWhite (same platform, no real growth) rather than new Kindle or HD...
I'm more invested than typical (only 60% cash) because they've made my ideal positions sufficiently inexpensive that I've bought more. Having said that, very little in terms of cost or underlying is ST -- almost all into 2013.
I've been fighting the squeezes for almost two years. Time is on my side now... FWIW, I have a killer long idea for you that is both safe and has enormous upside in a nominal inflation (or hyperinflation) world... I'll send an email -- it's on.
Although sybil does not believe in 'timing' the markets, sybil says that your timing is impecible.... Amzn has rolled over like a dog and iz in a downtrend, continue to short the 'rips' and let the trading gods smile upon your short trade....
"Now its simply a waiting game..."
That infamous day in the annal of Wall Street:
May 16, 1997 23.62 23.75 20.50 20.75 14,700,000 1.73
The IPO day for AMZN. $1.73 (adjusted for splits).
Some shorts have been waiting for over 15 years.
