Amazon has no profit. And has a lot of committed capital lease and fixed expenses. Their current cash will not even cover their account payable and accrued expenses. I don't think a bankruptcy is that far fetch.
Outside of a true financial shock, it is very unlikely there would be bankruptcy. It does generate cash from operations and could scale back all investment while raising debt or equity (albeit at lower prices than today by a significant margin).
If there is a financial shock, then all bets are off. Amazon could literally be done. The malinvestment has made it very vulnerable to tail risk.
Shorts must be patient. If you are buying November options, you like likely have your money taken. This will take months to play out...
