    Obviously the AAPL selloff $ is being redeployed: that's billion of #$%$

    that's one way to spin it. Except it was apparently the 100% margin hike on AAPL holdings that precipitated the fall. In other words, the drop was on the sale of shares purchased with leverage, i.e. capital the shareholders borrowed, so no guarantee of redeployment. Also, if shareholder wanted to keep holdings, they will need to generate cash. Who's to say they won't be selling AMZN etc. to keep AAPL holdings.
