Investing in AMZN has been a great thing for everyone, I've done quite well with it. It's a solid company with a great future. For 2 years I've heard "the pe, the pe", mostly from people who haven't read JB's letters to stockholders.

Best you start paying close attention to the "p/e". This pig and otherz pop in a glorious crash az the move to 10x off the long term lower trend line (amzn iz at 20). You should direct you accalaidz for doing so well in this 'great stok' to bernanke. The only things bezos haz accomplished iz story telling, losing money in a business, making lots of money in hiz personal acct, diluting share holder 'equity', and he will make atty's lots of money in class action law suites after amzn iz at or near bkrpt. Atta way to keep the economy going, jeff.

cw, those internet sales tax issues, isnt that for everybody though? I use to use AMZN for everything. I moved to the west coast and since being in Washington State now, I do have the additional tax since AMZN is hq'ed here. It made me look at other sites more frequently. Amazon does not always have the best deals. Overstock, walmart online, newegg, etc I have all used instead of just Amazon because of this tax. Now my question is wont the internet sales tax effect all these companies equally? I know that deduction is pea brained because it would still effect PPS due to slim margins but it wont it effect ALL these companies?

tech i have followed you in and out over the last 2 years, your DD is amazing but your timing is awful. you have to admit even you have cognitive bias. This fiscal cliff mantra was a perfect veil of fear to meltup the market. Once the deal is done the market will correct or consolidate. You can start adding to your put position then. I have a feeling like your CMG position that the institutions are going to squeak out as many shorts as possible on amzn. I dont see the next ER being that bad. Maybe 2nd quarter. Not knocking you, you are one of the few with something worth while reading. Thanks again

Yes, Techyboy's timing is horrific. If one were to actually have followed his advice on CMG they would have been wiped out. I suppose paper trading and empty bragadocio is the standard on these boards.....enjoy watching the shorts fry............

Once the deal is done the market Having the Fed Crooks dumping 85 billion a month indirectly- into this Ponzi market has something to do with the meltup obviously. It's tough to be a short in this rigged game and i'm feeling the pain. Also did you see the bias'ed article from "the street"? No doubt the author leaked the info to big hedgy friends before releasing it this afternoon, why else would this PIG run up so fast the last couple days, Insider action all around us in different forms!

I've always said I am a terrible trader, but I can hold my own when it comes to investing with just about anyone. I am adding to my positions. I'll be here when it does break.
