    Why I Love Amazon

Just received an 18 dollar bag of Rabbit food for my kids pets delivered to NYC from Kentucky sent OVERNIGHT (even though I only was supposed to get 2nd day air) at no additional cost. Whats not to love?

They are probably ONLY losing 15 -30 dollars on this particular shipment.

Dont worry...they can sell some more debt. heck, its free!

    • Yes indeedy - you can love the services that are doled out only the way a 'loss leader' can piiiiissss away money to dole them out, but anyone in their right mind wouldnt love the stock of such a stupid business modle. Keep up the good work ordering low value heavey items be delivered to the hardest place to drive around in on the planet. Fantastic report... Make sure you order items separately and a day apart too so you get a truck for every item! Thats good value indeed.

I am a fool. Book rates (published rates on a shipment like that is 85-92 dollars. Thats before you factor dimensions which is usually more than just by weight. So even if they get a 75% discount to published rates its still at a loss of about 10 bucks. And just because AMZN dont care about profits its hard to say that UPS doesnt! If its half the published rates than its a 30 dollar loss. at a minimum.
